Advanced Machine Vision Corporation Adds New Marketing and Sales Executive

MEDFORD, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 19, 1999--
Advanced Machine Vision Corporation (Nasdaq:AMVC) announced today that Rodney W. Larson became Vice President, Marketing and Sales, of AMV's SRC VISION, Inc. subsidiary.
Larson was previously General Manager of Frigoscandia, Inc., a $55 million revenue unit of FMC Corporation. In October 1998, FMC acquired a 10% interest in AMV.
William J. Young, the company's chairman, president and chief executive officer, said: "We are extremely pleased to have the services of Mr. Larson. He has had full profit and loss responsibility with FMC units and will bring invaluable experience to SRC. He will report directly to Dr. James Ewan, SRC's President, and will be primarily responsible for SRC's worldwide sales and marketing efforts."
Larson's educational background includes a BS in Chemistry from Arizona State University, an MS in Materials Engineering from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
