PR&E Showcases New Medium Market Furniture Line At NAB`99; Las Vegas Debut of QuikBilt II Modular Studio Furniture
Business Wire, April 20, 1999
CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 1999--
Pacific Research & Engineering Corp. (AMEX:PXE) will display their new QuikBilt(TM) II line of high-quality, low-cost modular studio furniture at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) trade show in Las Vegas.
Along with their award-winning lines of broadcast audio consoles, PR&E has been known for years among broadcast professionals for their high-quality custom and semi-custom studio furniture. With QuikBilt II, PR&E now brings the same high-quality construction and design sensibilities to economical, ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture.
QuikBilt II has three major advantages over other ready-to-assemble studio furniture. First, QuikBilt II is completely modular, which also makes it completely reconfigurable. Users can change the position of rack turrets after installation, or add more rack returns to house more equipment, or add a guest wing later if the need arises. QuikBilt II is thoroughly adaptable to customers' changing needs. Second, QuikBilt II needs just two tools to build: a No. 2 Philips and a flat-blade screwdriver. Assembling a QuikBilt II module is as easy as assembling a bookcase at home.
Finally, QuikBilt II is built of high-grade materials that will stand up to years of hard use in the radio studio environment. High-pressure laminate worksurfaces, Euro-hinged removable access doors, built-in ventilation grids, large cable routing trays and other features usually found only in more expensive furniture underscore PR&E's commitment to provide the highest quality product at the most affordable price.
While the 1999 Spring NAB marks its official debut, QuikBilt II was enthusiastically received at a pre-release showing during 1998's NAB Radio Show in Seattle last September. Come see QuikBilt II for yourself at the Pacific Research & Engineering Booth, No. L13670 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
PR&E manufactures high quality broadcast studio products and provides turnkey studio design/integration services to the worldwide broadcasting industry. Products include on-air and production mixing consoles, studio furniture and systems integration services.
