Barry Horn Joins Meridian

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 1999--
Meridian Partners Limited announces the hiring of industry veteran Barry Horn as Vice President of Sales.
Horn brings nearly 30 years of high technology sales, marketing and management experience to the position. He will be responsible for all aspects of sales and customer relations, and will oversee the new business development team for the Enterprise Solutions Group.
Horn began his career at IBM where he worked for 14 years. He was the assistant to the Chairman of the IBM Board for two years, Regional Manager in Boston, and Director of the Personal Computer Marketing Program when the PC was announced.
Barry returned to the Seattle area in 1988 as Attachmate's Executive Vice President, responsible for worldwide sales, marketing, and support. During his tenure at Attachmate, sales went from 60 million to more than 400 million.
For the past 17 months he was head of Worldwide Sales at Wall Data based in Seattle. Horn says, "I came to Meridian because its a growth company and it focuses on people.
