AAA's One-stop Auto Service Center Raises Standard for Customers; Car Care Plus Guarantees Parts and Labor, Provides Business Services and Extras

AAA announced today the opening of a state-of-the-art auto repair facility, "AAA Car Care Plus" in Santa Clara which is open to both AAA members and non-members.

The first of a number of full-service AAA automotive repair and service centers, AAA Car Care Plus offers a wide variety of automotive services under one roof. The services offered include major and minor repairs including scheduled maintenance on foreign and domestic vehicles, smog checks, brake inspections and oil changes, paintless dent and windshield repair and auto detailing. The facility is staffed by fully certified technicians and is open seven days a week.

"AAA Car Care Plus came about after extensive planning, research and asking AAA members what types of automotive services they need," said Dave Whitgob, AAA project manager. "We learned there is a need for a full-service facility like this as consumers have less free time to spend taking their vehicles to multiple locations to have different services performed. They want one convenient location and they also value the trust and reliability they have come to expect from AAA."

While their automobiles are getting serviced, customers can surf the Web, send e-mail or faxes, enjoy a freshly-made snack, or watch their kids play games and learn traffic safety from a video presentation. All of the work performed at Car Care Plus is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles. AAA members receive an extended warranty of 24 months or 24,000 miles, plus a ten percent discount on all labor and packaged services.
