Business Wire, April 22, 1999
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 22, 1999--
System Architects, Inc., a leading software developer of supply-chain management technologies, announced that Cardinal Logistics has purchased and installed SAI's QuickTrace(TM) Internet-based load-tracing application.
Cardinal Logistics' strategy is to develop knowledge-based logistics solutions utilizing experienced professionals, appropriate technological applications, and relentless dedication to customer satisfaction. With QuickTrace(TM) Cardinal Logistics is able to provide the fastest and most flexible load-tracing capabilities available today. QuickTrace(TM) delivers a high level of added customer service for Cardinal's clients, while lowering their 800 number costs and lessening demand for customer service personnel.
Originally developed in 1995, QuickTrace(TM) was the first commercially available Internet-based tracing product. With one mouse click, QuickTrace(TM) provides total "Open Order" status for Cardinal Logistics clients. Instead of just allowing specific pro-bill number searches, the advanced technology of QuickTrace(TM) allows clients to search for loads using seven different search parameters, such as load status - open or closed, purchase order number, or shipper number. QuickTrace(TM) is designed to work easily with Innovative Computing Corporation's and Sabre Group's dispatch and operations AS 400-based products, and with QualComm's or Highway Master's satellite tracking system to supply near real-time load status updates.
System Architects, Inc. specializes in providing supply-chain management technologies for the transportation industry. SAI's QuickTrace(TM) is the company's "flagship" product designed to enhance business-to-business information exchange. Headquarters for SAI are in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with European operations' headquarters in Doncaster, England.
