NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. to be Listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange

FORT MYERS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 1999--
NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:NEOM) announced today that the Company's shares began trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange today, Friday, April 23, 1999. NeoMedia is currently trading on the NASDAQ Small Cap Market under the symbol NEOM and is also listed on the Berlin Exchange.
"Our decision to list on the Frankfurt Exchange is in part the result of our sponsorship agreement with King Jelko Dr Dehmel AG, " commented Chas Fritz, NeoMedia's founder, president and CEO. "We feel this will greatly facilitate public investment in NeoMedia within the EU which has recently demonstrated strong interest in our technology and products."
NeoMedia began trading on the Berlin Exchange in October 1998. Daily trading volume has increased to 20,000-30,000 shares per day since then reflecting strong European interest.
NeoMedia was founded in 1989 and began trading on the NASDAQ Small Cap Market in 1996. The company provides proprietary software, systems and services that:
