Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation (NASDAQ: CTSH) today announced that it will draw on its broad Internet expertise to develop a variety of new, Net-based applications for Nielsen Media Research.

The Internet project work builds upon a long-standing relationship between the two companies. Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) has been providing a variety of application development, maintenance and other outsourcing services to Nielsen Media Research since 1995.

"We are extremely pleased that our relationship with Nielsen Media Research continues to grow," said Kumar Mahadeva, Chairman and CEO, Cognizant Technology Solutions.
