Business Wire, April 6, 1999
ROCHESTER, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 6, 1999--Frontier Communications has been selected by Creative Hair Dressers, Inc./Hair Cuttery, the largest privately held chain of hair salons in the country, to provide a full range of communication services -- including local telephone, data services, dedicated Internet, calling cards and switched and dedicated long distance service. Under the terms of the three-year, $1.5 million agreement, Frontier will provide services to more than 700 Hair Cuttery locations nationwide.
"We're a growing business with a penchant for providing excellent customer service," explained Mike Devero, vice president of new business for Hair Cuttery. "When it came time to select a communications supplier, we were looking for a company that recognizes the unique requirements faced by a retailer with geographically dispersed locations. Frontier provides the best solution today, and has the flexibility to adapt to our future expansion plans."
As a partner in NRF's Member Discount Program, Frontier offers NRF members competitive pricing and unique industry-driven packaging on a variety of telecommunications services -- all posted on a single monthly invoice. Frontier's ServiceProSM package of customized business-to-business solutions specifically address the needs of retail businesses.
"When we sat down with Hair Cuttery, we quickly realized that we had many data, Internet, and voice applications that would help them as they grow their operation," said Louis Ercolano, Frontier's president of Eastern Region sales. "Hair Cuttery expects to increase its number of retail outlets in the next two years. Frontier will be instrumental in supporting that growth, providing Hair Cuttery with several competitive advantages: local telephone service on a nationwide basis; volume discounts on long distance calling; data and dedicated Internet access via the cutting-edge Frontier Optronics NetworkSM; and an experienced team of professionals that are focused on providing customers with the finest quality products and services."
