Jeff Hinz Joins K2 Design

Jeff Hinz has joined K2 Design, Inc. (NASDAQ: KTWO, KTWOW), a full-service interactive agency, in the position of media director and as a member of K2's Executive Committee.
Hinz, who was most recently media director for Interpublic agency Angotti, Thomas, Hedge, will head the media department for K2, which specializes in the development of online businesses, communications and marketing strategies. The appointment is effective August 16, 1999.

Hinz has served as media director since 1997 for Angotti, Thomas, Hedge, an agency known for work Hinz was involved in for Saab and Fuji Film. Previously, he was associate media director at the same firm. Hinz was also associate media director at Ketchum Advertising, where, during his eight years, he received three promotions. At Ketchum, Jeff worked on accounts such as Oracle Computers, ACURA Division of American Honda Motor Co. Inc., Kentucky Fried Chicken and Healthnet HMO.
Hinz was named to Mediaweek's list of "Western Stars" in 1994. He has also received internal recognition at his agencies, including Ketchum Advertising's Award for Innovation in Media and Ketchum Communications' Right Way achievement award.
Hinz's strong technical marketing base and portfolio of technology accounts have a foundation in a Bachelor of Science Degree from Arizona State University, where he majored in Advertising, with a minor in Engineering.
