Keynote Speakers at Citrix iForum '99 Include Leaders and Experts in IT and ASP Industries

Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS) announced keynote speakers for its upcoming Citrix iForum '99 conference, a knowledge exchange for technology innovators that will be held in Orlando, Fla., on September 7-10. In addition to keynote addresses from Citrix executives Edward Iacobucci and Mark Templeton, Citrix iForum will feature speakers from leading companies, including IBM, Novell, Compaq, FDX (parent company of FedEx), and Telecomputing. In addition, IT executives from a variety of organizations will describe their success implementing server-based computing solutions.

Stan Davis, the best-selling author of "Blur: The Speed of Change in the Connected Economy," will speak on industry trends and the drive to computing independence. "Blur" is a guide to the demands of an economy characterized by speed, connectivity and the growth of intangible value. -0-

     The keynote speakers also include:

--   Dr. Eric Schmidt, chairman and CEO of Novell, who will speak on
     "Charting a Course in a Networked World."

--   David Thomas, senior vice president and group executive for IBM's
     Personal Systems Group, who will describe how IBM is using
     server-based computing to provide innovative e-business solutions
     to the IBM organization and its customers.

--   Robert Carter, corporate vice president and chief technology
     officer for FDX Corporation, the parent company of Federal
     Express, who will provide a customer's perspective on the
     strategic advantages of server-based computing for a large,
     global corporation.

--   Rick Frazier, vice president of the Enterprise Solutions Division
     for Compaq Computer Corporation's Enterprise Solution and
     Services Group, who will discuss how Compaq, key partners and
     ASPs are using server-based computing to create e-businesses that
     improve the delivery of multi-vendor solutions.

--   Jostein Eikeland, president and founder of Telecomputing,
     representing the emerging Application Service Provider market,
     who will outline the advantages of the ASP model for deploying
     and managing business-critical applications.

The conference will also feature a CIO "Town Meeting" moderated by Gary Beach, publisher of CIO Magazine, and a panel of industry analysts, including Robin Bloor of Bloor Research, Greg Blatnik, Zona Research, David Friedlander, Giga Information Group, Clare Gillan, IDC, and Randall Kennedy, Competitive Systems Analysis, discussing "Digital Convergence and Server-Based Computing."

     topics in IT today. The ASP track will explore all facets of this
