CSS Industries, Inc. (NYSE:CSS) announced today that its subsidiary, The Paper Magic Group, Inc., acquired substantially all of the assets and business of Party Professionals, Inc.

Headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, California, Party Professionals is a designer and distributor of a broad range of highly crafted latex masks and accessories sold under the Don Post Studios and The Great Coverup brand names. Annual Party Professionals sales have approximated $5 to $6 million and its products are distributed primarily to party and specialty stores.

CSS is a consumer products company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale to mass market retailers of seasonal, social expression products, including gift wrap, gift bags, boxed greeting cards, gift tags, tissue paper, paper and vinyl decorations, classroom exchange Valentines, decorative ribbons and bows, Halloween masks, costumes, make-up and novelties and Easter egg dyes and novelties.
