Picture Vision Extends Collaboration
With Garth Brooks in "Chris Gaines" Project
Paradise Music & Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq:PDSE) announced that its film and television production division, Picture Vision, has received four Emmy nominations for its Janet Jackson HBO show. The nominations bring Picture Visions' total number of Emmy nominations to eleven. In 1998, Picture Vision received six nominations for the Garth Brooks HBO special "Live from Central Park" the most watched cable show in 1997, and one for the Garth Brooks NBC special, "Ireland and Back". This year's Emmy awards are scheduled for September.

"We have already completed thirty-four productions in 1999, including ten network specials. Among the ten network specials are John Tesh for PBS, Janet Jackson for HBO, three Garth Brooks specials for NBC and a series of specials for CBS's Country Music Television, featuring Country's top performers.
Jon Small and Picture Vision have been working closely with Garth Brooks in the development of his highly anticipated new project "Garth Brooks: In the Life of Chris Gaines". Chris Gaines is a fictional character adopted by Brooks who will have the lead role in "The Lamb," a movie being developed for Paramount Pictures by Red Strokes Entertainment, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Tracey Edmonds. The film's release is expected by December 2000.
Small just finished directing Brooks in the music video "Lost in You" from the Chris Gaines debut album, which provides the first look at Brooks as the character. The video is scheduled to air August 2, 1999.
Brooks and Small will continue to work together on the second video "It Don't Matter to the Sun," which will be featured in the upcoming Warner Bros film "For The Love of the Game" starring Kevin Costner. The video is scheduled for release in mid-August. Also in production is a Garth Brooks NBC special to be aired September 29th. This is the fifth collaboration between Brooks and Small.
Other projects in production for Picture Vision include an "Earth Day 2000" special, a video for DreamWorks recording artist Toby Keith, and a live country music special for CBS and Country Music Television to be aired in October 1999.
