Total sales of Shared Hubs and LAN Switches grew 5% ($147 million), to $2.9 billion in 2Q99, according to the Dell'Oro Group's 2Q99 report, published last week.

Port shipments grew 5% (1.7 million ports), to 34.3 million. This growth came from Layer 3 Ethernet Switches growth (51% sequentially) to become the market ---- ------
