Mesa Royalty Trust Announces Trust Income for August 1999

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 1999--
Mesa Royalty Trust (NYSE:MTR) announced the trust income distribution for the month of August 1999. Unitholders of record on Aug. 31, 1999 will receive a distribution amounting to $518,430.32 or $.27818 per unit payable on Oct. 29, 1999.
Royalty income from the San Juan Basin properties totaled $165,929.14. Royalty income from the Hugoton properties totaled $347,299.76.
