Business Wire, August 26, 1999

LOS ANGELES--(BW SportsWire)--Aug. 26, 1999--

National Internet Radio (www.nationalinternetradio.com) announced today that it is launching extensive coverage leading up to the opening of the Staples Center. The Staples Center is a downtown Los Angeles arena project that is scheduled for completion this fall. The center will be the home for the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association. It will also house the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League. The center will also be the venue for various other events including a New Year's Eve 1999 Millennium Concert featuring The Eagles, Jackson Browne and Linda Ronstadt.

National Internet Radio (NIR) will up date progress on the center on a daily basis as it reaches completion and will feature special reports on parking in the area, restaurants and other locations of interest. NIR also plans after the game broadcasts following all Clippers, Lakers, Kings and Avengers home games.

Raymond L. Bary, president of NIR, stated: "We are extremely excited about the intense coverage we have planned for Staples Center. The center is literally only blocks from our headquarters and there are hundreds of restaurants, shops and sports bars in the area which we are familiar with but which are probably unknown to most people who haven't spent much time in the downtown area. We will bring attention to these locations and also focus heavily on the best way for visitors to get to the new arena. We will also provide coverage with regard to the pluses and minuses of various parking options."

NIR also plans to cover developments at other new arenas opening around the country: Denver's Pepsi Center (future home of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche), Toronto's Air Canada Centre (future home of the Toronto Mapleleafs and Toronto Raptors), Atlanta's Phillips Arena (future home of the Atlanta Hawks), Miami's American Airlines Arena (future home of the Miami Heat) and Indiana's Conseco Fieldhouse (future home of the Indiana Pacers).

National Internet Radio is a radio Internet broadcaster located at ww.nationalinternetradio.com on the web. Although the official launch date for most programming on NIR is September 7th, NIR will begin coverage immediately of the developments at the Staples Center. NIR is also owner of the web sites www.stockwire.com and www.fastbreak.net.
