PeopleSoft Puts Personal Touch on Customer Service; Customer Service Advocates to Expedite Customer Service Issues

NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 30, 1999--

PeopleSoft today announced that it has deployed customer advocates to expedite customer service issues and to identify appropriate services for customers. Every PeopleSoft customer will be assigned a customer advocate. These Account Executives, combined with Advantage Customer Service, PeopleSoft's comprehensive consulting, education, support, and partnering program, provide personalized, yet efficient, service through the PeopleSoft product lifecycle. Advantage Customer Service was implemented in May of this year in place of a traditional account management service model.

The Account Executive is the point of escalation for all customer issues. In addition to complementing the PeopleSoft Global Support Center, PeopleSoft's 24 x 7 product and technology support organization staffed by analysts providing online and phone assistance, the Account Executive augments the services of Customer Care offered by business professionals who provide first-level assistance to customers.

The Account Executive also identifies Advantage services appropriate for customers. Such services include eBusiness consulting, Upgrade Services, Education Services, and packaged consulting services.
