C-Cube Powers ATI's Consumer PC TV Timeshift and Video Editing Add-in Board

MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 30, 1999--
C-Cube Microsystems (Nasdaq: CUBE) today announced that it will power a new ATI (TSE: ATY, Nasdaq: ATYT) PC video add-in board that gives consumers the ability to watch, record and timeshift TV programs as well as edit home videos in the high quality MPEG-2 format.
The new board, ATI-Video Wonder(TM), takes advantage of C-Cube's DVxplore(TM) MPEG-2 CODEC with its simultaneous two-way record/playback capability. The board will be available in Q4, 1999.
