In the first month of service, Excite Voice Chat has achieved over 400,000 downloads of the Voice Chat/Lipstream client.

To use Lipstream's voice application, consumers only need a 28.8 or above Internet connection, speakers and a microphone. The Lipstream client takes less than a minute to download and automatically installs into most Web browsers.
