E Ink Corporation, the leading developer and marketer of electronic ink technology, today had its electronic ink recognized as a 1999 Industry Week "Technology of the Year." E Ink will be profiled in the December 6 issue of the magazine, which is devoted entirely to the "Technologies of the Year."
"To select the winners, the editors solicit reader nominations for a judging process designed to recognize outstanding achievement in technology," said John R. Brandt, editor and chief of Industry Week. "To be eligible, candidate technologies must relate in a significant way to accomplishments and achievements in the current year."

"E Ink's inclusion in this very prestigious list of technologies is a validation of our work and our potential and is a great way to end 1999!"
The editors of Industry Week select 25 "Technologies of the Year" out of hundreds of entries.
