Innovative Provider of Internet Billing and Interactive Customer
Care Software OEM's Dynamo Application Server to Increase
Productivity and Build Customer Relationships
Art Technology Group ("ATG") (Nasdaq:ARTG), developers of e-commerce and online personalization applications, today announced that Just in Time Solutions, an Internet billing and interactive customer care software provider, has incorporated its Dynamo(R) Application Server(tm) into the 2.0 release of Just in Time's BillCast(tm). BillCast is the premier enterprise application platform for Internet billing and interactive customer care in the electronic channel. The integration of Dynamo into BillCast 2.0 enables Just in Time to provide their customers with a high-performance, flexible, end-to-end solution for personalized bill presentment, payment, and service delivery.
To support the demand for flexible billing, Just in Time needed an application server and e-commerce architecture that was robust enough to handle the complexity of online billing and integration with their existing technology. Dynamo's 100% Java-based platform allows Just in Time to achieve rapid time-to-market and rapid integration with existing enterprise systems. Dynamo's scalable e-commerce architecture makes it easy for Just in Time developers to scale the system as business grows and meet the changing billing requirements of their customers. The flexibility and modularity of the Dynamo platform provides Just in Time with a solid basis for future expansion.
"The ability to deliver flexible Internet billing solutions tailored around individual needs is critical to the success of e-commerce initiatives by large-volume recurring billers, such as telecommunication and credit card companies," said Ralph Hibbs, Sr. product marketing manager of BillCast at Just in Time Solutions. "By integrating ATG's Dynamo technology into BillCast 2.0, we are able to offer our customers something exciting and different -- a product that's dynamic enough to enable billers to offer their customers an interactive billing experience. Dynamo is a vital piece of BillCast's infrastructure technology."
At the heart of BillCast 2.0 is Dynamo's dynamic content targeting that makes it possible for Just in Time to deliver a customized billing experience to their customers. BillCast's content targeting capabilities, driven by Dynamo, combines customer profiles with existing data and billing information generating unique content for each customer. For example, a consumer's Web page flow and options may be different depending on the value of the customer. BillCast's sophisticated profiling and personalization capabilities can also be used to tailor the customer's service experience. For example, customers design their own experience by selecting the personalized e-mails they care to receive each month, such as messages that indicate if the bill is ready or the payment was successful.
"ATG is committed to providing innovative, best-of-breed technology companies with the scalable, reliable, and standards-based e-commerce infrastructure they need," said Ken Volpe, vice president of product marketing and management at ATG. "Our partnership with Just in Time Solutions is just another example of our mission to make it easier for application providers to deliver the highest level of quality, personalized e-business services to their customers."
