Business Wire, Dec 16, 1999
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 1999--
Track Data Corporation (Nasdaq NMS: TRAC) announced today that it is now providing a daily automated list of stocks available for short selling. The new feature opens the system to online short selling without broker assistance.
Barry Hertz, Chairman and CEO, said, "We are very excited about the introduction of the automated short list. This has been a very frequent request by many of our members. It is a further enhancement that creates great value in our trading system. This feature has come about as a result of the cooperation and innovation of our clearing firm, Herzog, Heine, Geduld, Inc."
Track Data offers the first week of trading commission-free and recently announced that the last week of trading in December will also be free to celebrate the millennium. To open a trading account, go to http://www.mytrack.com and click on the "Open a Trading Account" button.

rade (Nasdaq: EGRP), Schwab (NYSE: SCH) and Ameritrade (Nasdaq: AMTD). myTrack delivers a continuous dynamic stream of live market data and investors' online trading activity.
