SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 1999--
VacationSpot.com, the Web's leading source for finding and reserving independent vacation properties worldwide, today announced the addition of several new partnerships that will expand its already large offering of vacation property rentals worldwide.
In addition to the more than 100,000 vacation units worldwide already featured on VacationSpot.com, consumers now have access to the following one-of-a-kind vacation lodging options:
-- Loon/Cannon Real Estate, rents privately owned condominiums and
townhouses in the Loon/Cannon area of the White Mountains of New
Hampshire. These properties are located in ten different resort
locations in the White Mountains.
-- Tahoe Keys Resort Properties is a 750 acre private resort located
at the southern tip of Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe Keys properties' are
laced with eleven miles of inland waterways and offer
breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Amenities include

For property managers, working with VacationSpot.com makes expanding their Web business easier and more effective.
"VacationSpot.com has been very helpful in expanding our business on the Web," said Susan Chenard of Loon/Cannon Real Estate. "The VacationSpot.com staff has been particularly helpful and full of great suggestions in how to best utilize our resources on their site."
"We signed on with VacationSpot.com and saw results immediately," said Brad Lawson of Dunes Properties. "This is a great way for us to take our business into the new millennium."
"These properties represent some of the most wonderful American getaways," said Alex Chang, vice president of marketing, VacationSpot.com. "VacationSpot.com offers unique choices that are conveniently close-to-home for our American customers; and our European customers have even more opportunity to experience top-quality lodging at the best U.S. destinations."
The online travel industry is one of the brightest spots in the burgeoning e-commerce field, expected to eclipse all other forms of online purchases by the end of 1999. However, the existing solutions in the independent leisure lodging industry serve neither the consumer nor the property manager well. Great getaways such as beachfront homes, ski condos, European villas and lakefront cabins are too hard to find, and for property managers -- too hard to market. With its diverse and high-quality inventory dramatically expanded through the acquisition of Rent-a-Holiday, VacationSpot.com is poised to provide the most comprehensive travel reservation and booking systems for the vacation rental market.
