Birthday Express.com Names VP of New Business Development Executive Post Adds Marketing Muscle to Party Supply Company

Birthday Express.com, the Internet's leading provider of party and event planning products and services, announced today it has hired former Humongous Entertainment(R) marketing executive Vicki Brummond as vice president of new business development.

With more than 12 years management experience in the interactive software, entertainment, marketing and advertising industries, Brummond will develop and spearhead online partnerships and alliances for Birthday Express.com.

Brummond's astute understanding of partnership collaboration and product licensing draws on her experiences with Humongous Entertainment, where she developed strategic alliances with Blue's Clues(TM) licensees and other Nickelodeon partners and affiliates. While at Humongous Entertainment, Brummond launched the Blue's Clues CD-ROM product line, the initial two titles soaring to the No. 1 and No. 4 selling educational children's CD-ROMs of 1998 based on four months of sales. Prior to that Brummond was senior promotions manager for Philips Media Software's Home & Family Entertainment Division, where she directed public relations for the launch of more than 15 children's and reference CD-ROMs. Brummond holds a master's in Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University and a bachelor's in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
