Business Wire, Dec 7, 1999

ANN ARBOR, MI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 7, 1999--

MAXfunds.com, an Internet-based mutual fund analysis company due to launch its Web site in early 2000, today announced Richard P. Myers has joined the company as Director of Operations.

Rick Myers comes to MAXfunds from the Seattle area where he was Director of Information Technology with AT&T Wireless. Rick will be relocating to Ann Arbor for his new position. His major responsibilities as Director of Operations at MAXfunds will be in data collection and management, third-party business relations, and back-office business operations.

Says Jim Price, President and CEO of MAXfunds, "We're really pleased that Rick recognizes the compelling potential of what we're doing -- enough to justify the serious career and geographic move he's decided to make. Adding his proven leadership and management skills to our team significantly strengthens MAXfunds.com at a crucial, high-growth stage for the organization."

About MAXfunds.com

Founded in 1999, MAXfunds.com specializes in no-load equity funds that are either too new or too small to get a Nasdaq listing. While studies show that smaller funds routinely out-perform their larger counterparts, most lack Nasdaq ticker symbols, without which they receive little or no coverage from traditional media and go largely unnoticed by the investing world. MAXfunds.com will allow online investors to compare these undiscovered funds against the universe of no-load equity mutual funds. When the site is launched in the first quarter of 2000, MAXfunds will provide investors with insightful analysis, powerful screening tools and daily pricing on the most comprehensive available list of no-load, low-minimum-investment equity funds, including hundreds without Nasdaq listings.
