The Internet Analyst News - No Y2K Problems for Cisco Systems

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 1999--
Morgan Stanley Dean Witter reiterated its strong buy rating on Cisco Systems (Nasdaq-CSCO) and raised its price target on the company's stock to $115 from $93. It also said the company has moved from no market share to about 57% of the market for cable modem concentrators in five quarters and that its partnership with Broadcom (Nasdaq-BRCM) has been instrumental in this regard. The shares of Network Associates (Nasdaq-NETA) are considered a strong buy by Tucker Anthony Cleary Gull, which raised its price target on the company's stock to $40 from $30. The brokerage said Network Associates successfully spun off its Mcafee.com (Nasdaq-MCAF) anti-virus software division in an IPO that raised $1.58 billion for the company, which retains 85% of the new company.
First Union Securities reiterated its strong buy rating on the shares of Yahoo! (Nasdaq-YHOO) and raised its price target on the stock to $350 from $240.
Black & Company rates the Internet shares of Webtrends (Nasdaq-WEBT) a strong buy, with a short-term price target of $86.75.
