The design efforts focused on refreshing SMSC's home page, optimizing the use of new colors and graphics to make the site visually appealing while reducing download time. Additionally, a new state-of-the-art navigational structure allows for quick access to information throughout the site.
SMSC's goal is to enhance communication within its customer base by making its Web site a comprehensive, clear, concise resource containing design support for devices in SMSC's current product lines - Personal Computer Input/Output, Personal Computer Connectivity, Personal Computer Systems Logic, Personal Computer Local Area Networking, and Embedded Products.
