IBM Selects NVIDIA for Consumer PC Line; RIVA 128ZX-Based Creative Labs Board Powers IBM's Aptiva E-Series 540 and 570 Home PC Solutions

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 1999--NVIDIA(TM) Corp. (Nasdaq:NVDA) announced today that IBM(R) has chosen NVIDIA's RIVA 128ZX(TM) 3D graphics processor in the 540 and 570 models of their Aptiva E Series family of home PCs.
This 8MB-AGP version of the Graphics Blaster RIVA 128ZX, from Creative Labs, Inc., provides state-of-the-art 3D performance, in addition to 2D and video acceleration, for the mainstream PC market.
