"We are very excited about shipping the newest generation of Epson digital cameras, the PhotoPC 750Z," said Lisa Dempsey, assistant product manager, digital cameras, Epson. "The PhotoPC 750Z embodies a full feature set, allowing business users, photo enthusiasts and consumers to maximize its state of the art capabilities and achieve high-quality digital images."
About the PhotoPC 750Z
The PhotoPC 750Z is the first Epson digital camera to offer optical zoom. Consumers can use the 3X optical zoom feature to capture images from 34mm to 102mm or the 2X digital zoom to crop-on-the-fly, reducing file sizes and conserving memory. Both optical and digital zooms can also be used together to achieve 6X zoom.
In addition, the PhotoPC 750Z allows users to increase the resolution from its true 1280 x 960 pixel resolution to an interpolated 1600 x 1200 or 1.92 million pixels with Epson's revolutionary new HyPict image enhancement technology. Occurring inside the camera and before JPEG compression, HyPict utilizes all the image data to produce 1600 x 1200 images that can be printed up to 8" x 10".
The PhotoPC 750Z also features Epson's Quick Shot picture taking mode, allowing users to snap a photo within three seconds of capturing the previous image. To capture action photos, users can use the Quick Shot mode or the PhotoPC 750Z's expanded Continuous Shoot mode which provides the ability to capture two 640 x 480 images per second up to 16 images.
Furthermore, the PhotoPC 750Z increases productivity without increasing cost by including Epson's NiMH Power Pak, consisting of four AA size NiMH batteries and charger to lower the overall cost of ownership. The camera aoys a new Solar Assist Panel to illuminate the LCD monitor in direct sunlight and save battery power.
The PhotoPC 750Z also provides an expanded Direct Print capability and a software bundle that includes Sierra Imaging's Image Expert(TM) software, an excellent package for retrieving, organizing, enhancing and printing images. Among other exciting new features, a panorama stitching capability allows users to create spectacular panorama images. Also included with the PhotoPC 750Z are Epson's TWAIN driver, Photo File Uploader, Program Uploader and Direct Print driver software.
