Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited And Legacy Explorations Ltd. Jointly Announce Completion Of Share Sale

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 1999--Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (Nasdaq:AEAGF)(TSE:AGE)(ME:AGE)("Agnico-Eagle") and Legacy Explorations Ltd. (CDN:LGCY)("Legacy") jointly announced that Agnico-Eagle, and an associated company Mentor Exploration and Development Co., Limited ("Mentor"), completed a previously announced sale of shares of Legacy to Robin Enterprises Limited ("Robin"), Blackbird Resources Limited ("Blackbird") and Chesley Holdings Inc.
("Chesley"). Agnico-Eagle and Mentor sold an aggregate of 1,113,244 common shares of Legacy for aggregate proceeds of $300,000 (approximately $0.27 per share).
