Business Wire, Feb 4, 1999
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 1999--Tinsley Advertising, a Miami-based, full-service advertising agency, has been awarded the Cunard Line Ltd. advertising account.
"The team at Tinsley proved themselves to be the perfect alignment. We were looking for a full-service shop that has the ability to think creatively `out of the box' and provide excellent account service," said Bill Leiber, Cunard's vice president of Worldwide Sales & Marketing.
Said Sandy Tinsley, chairman: "It was great teamwork. With the re-launch of both brands we are looking forward to taking Cunard successfully into the next millennium."
Cunard markets two cruiseship brands -- Cunard and Seabourn -- both offering luxury service, food and accommodations.
"We will work to position Cunard as the embodiment of classic cruising in the British style and Seabourn as the ultimate in smaller ship luxury," said Bob Bishopric, Tinsley senior vice president. "Everything will be in place in time for the complete refurbishment and re-alignment of the two fleets by the end of the year."
Tinsley Advertising is one of the Southeast's largest agencies. With the addition of Cunard Line Ltd., client billings will increase to approximately $95 million. Its accounts include SuperClubs Resorts, Mayor's Jewelers, The Florida Keys and Key West, Miami Subs and Boca Raton Resort & Club.
