The event-driven engine enables execution of data transfers without polling or re-indexing that would degrade the Domino server. Data can be transferred bi-directionally or accessed in real-time. Real-time allows high-volume data stores to be accessed using a Domino application, eliminating the need to store data in the Domino database and ensuring data integrity for time-critical applications.
