CTG Resources Announces the Promotion of Jean S. McCarthy to Vice President of Human Resources

HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 1999--CTG Resources, Inc. (NYSE:CTG), the holding company of Connecticut Natural Gas Corporation (CNG), today announced the promotion of Jean S. McCarthy to vice president, human resources services.
Having joined CTG Resources in 1995 as its director of Human Resources, Jean McCarthy's expanded role includes organizational development, employee relations, training, diversity, compensation, and benefits planning. McCarthy is a graduate of the University of Hartford School of Business and the University of Hartford Barney Executive MBA Program. She is a member of several human resource organizations, including the Society for Human Resources Management and the Connecticut Human Resources Forum. She serves on the Board of Directors of Leadership Greater Hartford. She resides in Farmington with her husband Thomas.
