CT Communications Hires New Network Executive

CONCORD, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 1999--CT Communications, Inc., (CTC)(OTC BB: CNOTB) announced today that it has hired Michael R. Nash as Senior Vice President-Network Management.
Nash will be responsible for the planning, engineering, and maintenance of the network and facilities used to provide voice and data telecommunications services to CTC's customers. Nash has 24 years' experience in the areas of network planning, operations planning, central office operations, and outside plant engineering with Bellcore, BellSouth, and most recently, with Standard Telephone Company of Cornelia, GA.
He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Georgia State University. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer, a former President of the Georgia Independent Telco Group, and active in numerous civic, community, and church activities. Said Michael R.
