PCNA Seeks Additional Marketing Executives
From Other Internet Portals
The Publishing Company of North America, Inc. (Nasdaq:PCNA), the nation's leading publisher of official bar association membership directories, announced today that it is seeking to hire additional marketing executives dedicated to the expansion of PCNA's new Internet portal, designed to serve the nation's legal community.
The Company is seeking individuals with proven experience at other Internet companies such as America Online (NYSE:AOL), Yahoo (Nasdaq:YHOO), Lycos (Nasdaq:LCOS), Excite (Nasdaq:XCIT), Amazon.com (Nasdaq:AMZN), CDnow (Nasdaq:CDNW), ONSALE, Inc. (Nasdaq:ONSL), Netscape Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:NSCP) or Infoseek Corporation (Nasdaq:SEEK).
The Company intends to use various Internet employment sites in its recruiting efforts. Resumes of qualified applicants may also be sent to the Company via mail, facsimile and email (employment@pcna.com).
As released last week, PCNA's new site is being designed to achieve segment dominance by targeting members of the legal profession. Planned features include a variety of law related material including content, law related links, free email as well as "free" home pages to attorneys nationwide. PCNA also is planning to feature an on-line shopping mall that will be specifically tailored to meet the needs of the legal profession. A search engine is also planned to help locate specifically law related topics. PCNA plans to begin realizing revenues from its new site in the form of law related advertising, targeting its existing base of many thousands of clients, as well as other revenue sharing ventures.
