CSS Industries Inc. Announces Executive Changes

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 1999--CSS Industries Inc. (NYSE:CSS) announced that its Board of Directors designated Clifford E. Pietrafitta, Vice-President - Finance of the Company, as Chief Financial Officer.
Pietrafitta succeeds James G. Baxter who submitted his resignation as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and as a Director of the Company effective Jan. 24, 1999 in order to pursue other business interests.
The Board of Directors also elected Paul L. Delaney, who had been serving as the Company's Manager of Corporate Accounting and Internal Audit, as Treasurer and Assistant Secretary.
CSS is a consumer products company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale to mass market retailers of seasonal, social expression products, including gift wrap, gift bags, boxed greeting cards, gift tags, tissue paper, paper and vinyl decorations, classroom exchange Valentines, decorative ribbons and bows, Halloween masks, costumes, make-ups and novelties and Easter egg dyes and novelties.
