Merisel Appoints Mary Chin to Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Computing Division

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 1999--Merisel Inc. (Nasdaq:MSEL) Tuesday announced the appointment of Mary Chin to the position of vice president and general manager of its enterprise computing division.
Chin will implement Merisel's strategy to establish the company's leadership position in the enterprise computing market. Yesterday marked Chin's first day at Merisel.

Most recently, Chin served as vice president of marketing operations at Unisys Corp., one of the leading worldwide computer manufacturers and service providers to enterprise business-to-business customers.
Prior to joining Unisys, Chin served as the vice president of commercial systems for NEC Technologies, one of the top-five worldwide manufacturers of computing, communications and peripheral equipment. Previously, she held marketing and sales management positions with a number of computer companies, including Hewlett-Packard Co., where she served in marketing management for 13 years.
