Tetra Tech Signs $100 Million Contract With the U.S. Department of Energy

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 1999--Tetra Tech Inc. (Nasdaq:WATR) Tuesday announced that it signed a technical and management consulting services contract in support of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Defense Programs Stockpile Stewardship Program.
The five-year contract has a potential value of $105 million.
Under the contract, Tetra Tech will assist the DOE with its safety, security, reliability and regulatory compliance of the nation's nuclear weapons stockpile. Tetra Tech will provide a broad range of expertise in high-performance computing, numeric modeling and simulation, nuclear engineering, laser and pulsed-power technology, safeguards, policy analysis and environmental science.
In addition, Tetra Tech will support the DOE with its activities associated with the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and the Strategic Arms Reduction Talks.
