Milestone Scientific, Inc. President Takes Leave of Absence

LIVINGSTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 6, 1999--Milestone Scientific, Inc. (AMEX: MS) today announced that Daniel Martin, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company will take an indefinite leave of absence to deal with certain medical conditions. The Company wishes Mr. Martin a return to good health and, if surgery is required, a speedy recovery therefrom. Mr. Martin will continue to serve on the Company's Board of Directors. The Company will immediately begin a search for a new interim or permanent Chief Operating Officer.
