CIBER Acquires Paragon Solutions, Inc

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 1999--CIBER, Inc. ("CIBER") (NYSE: CBR) announced today the acquisition of Paragon Solutions, Inc. ("Paragon"), a privately held provider of Oracle software implementation and IT consulting services, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA.

("Summit"), our existing value-added Enterprise Applications Solutions practice," stated Mac Slingerlend, CIBER's President/CEO. "Strategically, Paragon adds breadth to CIBER's Summit Group activities by initiating an Oracle project presence in the Pittsburgh, PA, marketplace and strengthening Summit's relationship with Oracle. We are also pleased that Paragon shareholders, Debbie Ferlic and Bob Markley, will join the Summit team. Debbie will serve as a Summit Group Vice President and will continue to manage the Pittsburgh office," continued Mr. Slingerlend. Paragon generates annualized revenues of approximately $5 million. The acquisition will be accounted for using purchase accounting.
