Vietnam Veteran Douglas Flagg, 54, of Orange, Mass., has won the Beyond.com "Millionth Customer Sweepstakes" launched by the Internet software superstore in celebration of topping 1 million paying customers a few weeks ago.

Selected in a random drawing, Flagg received as his grand prize a new Palm III Connected Organizer PalmPilot, an ergonomic Microsoft mouse and 97 software products across more than 100 software product categories, both physically and via digital download from the Beyond.com website located at http://www.beyond.com. Flagg will digitally download 33 software titles directly from Beyond.com to his home computer.

Flagg, who is on disability because of a back injury, devotes most of his time to creating award-winning 22-stitch cross-stitch embroidery and exotic wood frames for the embroidery. He said he was thrilled to win so much exciting software from Beyond.com.
