Alternate Marketing Networks (Nasdaq:ALTM) announced today that Celeste Lavezzari has been hired as the company's Vice President Media Director, a new position created to leverage new revenue opportunities from the company's extensive newspaper network.

Lavezzari, a 20-year media veteran, also will oversee AMN's newspaper sampling business.

Lavezzari, who was named a Media All-Star in 1995 by MediaWeek, has worked for such companies as John Blair marketing, Product Movers and News America FSI. Prior to joining AMN, she held various consulting positions in the banking, medical and advertising fields and has served as a consultant to AMN since March.

She also has served as President Elect for the A.B.C. Coupon Task Force and was a member of the A.B.C Coupon Distribution Verification Service and the News America FSI Executive & Management Committees.
