T.J.T., Inc. Names New General Manager in its California Plant

EMMETT, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 1999--
T.J.T., Inc. (Nasdaq SmallCap:AXLE), a supplier of refurbished axles and tires to the manufactured housing industry, has named a new general manager of its Woodland, California plant.
Don Cruzan, a 24-year veteran of the building materials industry, was most recently with Zieman Manufacturing Co. Inc. in Woodland where he was division manager for six years. His background also includes management positions for millwork and lumber firms in both California and Washington.
"Our plant in California is an important piece of the company and its continued growth," said Terrence Sheldon, president and chief executive officer of T.J.T. "We are extremely pleased to have an individual of Don's background and management experience join us. He has a great deal of strength in improving plant efficiency which is a high priority with T.J.T." The company's Woodland facility, which is located near Sacramento, supplies manufactured housing plants in northern California, and is one of seven operated by the company in the Western United States.
Established in 1977, T.J.T. is a major provider of recycled axles and inspected tires to the manufactured housing industry. It operates recycling facilities in Idaho, Washington, northern California, Oregon and Colorado and serves customers in 11 Western states. In addition to effectively recycling these serviceable steel and rubber products, the company also sells aftermarket accessories to the manufactured housing industry and vinyl siding to the housing industry. T.J.T. has 10 consecutive years of profitability while growing with the expanding manufactured housing industry. For its fiscal year ended September 30, 1998, the company had revenue of $34.1 million.
