QCL Group, Inc. Announces the Development of New Software Designed to Ease the Setup of Secure E-Commerce Websites

WATKINSVILLE, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 1999--

QCL Group, Inc. (QCLG) through its wholly owned subsidiary QCL Communications, Inc. is beginning the development of a new software program designed to ease the use and setup of e-commerce websites by site designers and website owners The software will be a wizard driven venue creation environment, which will enable content sites across the Internet to quickly and easily add revenue generating on-line sales to their websites. Web designers and web site owners will be able to setup their account, and build their own unique on-line store from any Internet connected computer.

Raymond Firth of QCL Communications, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of QCL Group, Inc. will manage the software development program. Firth was with Wang Laboratories (WANG) for eighteen years, he has extensive knowledge of secured server applications development, QCLG thinks his knowledge in this area is extremely important for software development geared toward e-commerce. Firth worked with secured military computer systems with Wang. Firth also has extensive engineering management experience as Country Service Engineer for Wang Thailand.

QCL Group, Inc. has no way of knowing if the software will be successful or profitable for QCL Group, Inc. as a whole. Raymond Firth is also a board member of QCL Group, Inc. Some of the modules of the software program may be contracted out to outside sources.

QCL Group, Inc. recently ended their 2nd quarter ending June 30th with revenues of $1,743,600.00, which were higher than anticipated. QCL Group, Inc. is planning on reporting their earnings for the first six months shortly. Earnings are expected at 7% net of sales.
