iCanBuy.com Announces Seven New Retail Partners; New Partnerships Include Major Online Sites, Reflecting iCanBuy's Leadership in Safety and Privacy

Business Wire, July 29, 1999

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 1999--

Continuing to expand the number of top retailers where members can shop, iCanBuy.com, the first online money management site for teens and kids, announced today seven new partners: eToys, Inc., (NASDAQ: ETYS), AlloyOnline(TM) (NASDAQ: ALOY), Graffiti Online, KidFlix.com, rallycaps.com, Ezone.com and Store4Kids.com.

"Top Internet retailers, like eToys, appreciate our attention to tight security and our strict stance on privacy," said iCanBuy.com CEO, Paul Herman. Herman, who last week was an expert speaker on a Federal Trade Commission panel about children's online privacy, added that iCanBuy.com's policies prevent members from viewing inappropriate merchandise or receiving "spam" (unwanted email) from merchants.

eToys, the most popular children's products site on the Web, offers a vast array of toys, video games, software, books and music with over 100,000 selected stock keeping units. iCanBuy members can purchase an eToys gift certificate from iCanBuy, then shop at eToys for their favorite toys and games. Top-sellers like Star Wars, Pokemon and Furby make eToys a popular stop at the iCanBuy mall, and on the WishList - a gift registry for members.

New partner AlloyOnline(TM) features a bounty of clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry, for both girls and boys. Favorite teen brands include Roxy/Quicksilver, Silver Marlin and Sugar.

"Through our partnership with iCanBuy.com, AlloyOnline(TM) hopes to reach new customers beyond our 2 million Generation Y members," said Matthew Diamond, CEO and President of AlloyOnline(TM). "We recognize iCanBuy's winning approach, which protects kids and teens while allowing them to experience online shopping."

Graffiti Online specializes in clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry and beauty products for girls. With everything from Steve Madden shoes to Chinese "good fortune" bracelets, Graffiti is an instant hit, according to Herman. "And Graffiti's free shipping policy is extremely popular with our members," he added.

"We're excited to bring our customers major retailers that carry a broad range of products, but we also recognize the value of leading sites focused on unique needs, like KidFlix.com, rallycaps.com, Ezone.com and Store4Kids," Herman said.

KidFlix.com provides iCanBuy members access to 15,000 videos for all ages, many priced under $10, an important factor for budget-conscious teens and kids. Rallycaps.com supplies over 800 logo caps (most under $20) for over 70 different NCAA schools, as well as all the NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB teams. Ezone.com offers games that users can test-drive and download. And Store4Kids.com provides younger members with CD-ROMS, stickers, videos, books and games.
