Northern Trust Opens New Office In Marin County

MILL VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 14, 1999--

Northern Trust Bank opened its new Marin County office on May 24, 1999 at 575 Redwood Highway in Mill Valley.

The Marin office is Northern Trust's eleventh office in California.

The opening honored the Film Institute of Northern California and its efforts to reopen the Rafael Film Center. On behalf of Northern Trust, Steve Borden, managing director of the Marin office, presented a donation to the Institute which was accepted by Mark Fishkin, Founder of the Film Institute and Susan Lowe, President of the Institute's Board of Directors.

The office opening drew over 500 clients and guests including Northern Trust clients, Dr. Nancy L. Snyderman and Phil Woodward. Guests were welcomed by Northern Trust Corporation Chairman Bill Osborn, Northern Trust Personal Financial Services President, Mark Stevens, Sherry Barrat, President and CEO of Northern Trust Bank of California and Steve Borden.

Entertainment was provided by Full Tilt, which provided the swing music to which dancers from the Marin Ballet performed. The event was catered in part by Mill Valley restaurants, Robata and Piatti.
