Bus-Tech Adds Cisco's Channel-Attached Routers To Its Lineup of Data Center Connectivity Solutions; Agreement Positions Bus-Tech as a Single Source for System/390 Access Solutions

Bus-Tech, Inc.(tm), a leading provider of data center connectivity solutions, today announced an agreement with Cisco Systems, Inc. to resell Cisco's industry leading channel-attached routers. Under the terms of the agreement, Bus-Tech will integrate Cisco's high performance family of mainframe channel-attached routers: the Cisco 7200 with the Channel Port Adapter and 7500 with the Channel Interface Processor to their product offerings. Under the new agreement, Cisco and Bus-Tech will engage in joint marketing and cooperative selling.

Bus-Tech will continue to offer its entire NetShuttle product line, including direct channel-attachment of the most popular SNA gateway products; IBM's Communications Server for Windows NT, Microsoft's SNA Server and Novell's NetWare for SAA. The Cisco channel-attached routers complement the existing Bus-Tech product set and rounds out its product offerings.
