QuestLink Technology Names Former pcOrder Software Architect as Director Of IT; Designer of Revolutionary Data Development Tools Now Heads QuestLink.com IT Department

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 21, 1999--
QuestLink Technology, Inc., the world's largest online resource of technical information for electronic engineering, has named Steven M. List director of information technology.
List will be responsible for Web and database development for system operations. List will work in the company's Austin, Texas office.

"Having held management positions in several 'dot-com' companies, Steven is familiar with the challenges associated with doing business online. Prior to joining QuestLink, List was senior software architect at pcOrder.com, an Austin, Texas-based e-commerce vendor for the PC distribution channel. There he developed a data mining/warehousing system for analysis of utilization data and designed and led the implementation of a revolutionary data development tool for the pcOrder data development lab.
Before pcOrder.com, List was vice president of software development at Digital Chef, Inc. in Cupertino, Calif. His responsibilities included leading the design and implementation teams, establishing procedures and processes for source code control, and staff development.
