National Investor Relations Institute Seattle Chapter Honors Best Annual Reports in Northwest

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 21, 1999--
The Seattle Chapter of NIRI concluded its first annual report contest Thurs., June 17 and made awards to eight companies for their entries.
Four judges from the Seattle area evaluated the 40 reports submitted for the contest. The judges were: Greg Heberlein, business columnist, The Seattle Times, Gary Ball, individual investor, Scott McAdams, McAdams, Wright, Ragen, and Sue Cummings, Cummings/Company. The judges represent a journalist, an individual investor, a sell-side analyst and a graphic designer respectively.
The overall winner for Best of Show is NIKE Corporation of Beaverton, OR. Other winners for awards in the following areas are:

Mid-Cap: Shurgard Storage Centers, Seattle, WA
Large-Cap: Weyerhaeuser Co., Federal Way, WA

Best Narrative Section: Corixa Corp., Seattle, WA
Best Letter to Shareholders: TJ International, Boise, ID
