Garlic Festival Announces First Gourmet Alley Addition in 16 Years

GILROY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 1999--

Gilroy Garlic Festival Master Chef Val Filice announced today that The Festival's internationally acclaimed Gourmet Alley will add two new entrees to the menu for the July 23-25, 1999 event.

The alteration to the popular garlic scampi, garlic calamari, pepper beefsteak sandwiches and garlic pasta will be the first material addition to the Gourmet Alley bill of fare in 16 years.

Gourmet Alley at the Garlic Festival has served over 2.3 million meals in its 20 years of operation.

Filice will debut the two new entrees at a July 1, 1999 Gilroy press conference.
