TRENTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 1999--
Viking Resources International Inc. (OTC BB:VIKG) announced that Executive Jetport of New Jersey Inc. (EJP) began full operations at the Trenton, N.J. facility Thursday.
Thomas E. Patterson, president and CEO of EJP, stated: "The employees and management of EJP are both pleased and excited to finally open this wonderful facility after three years of planning and implementing. We all look forward to serving the aviation industry in a professional manner and support the Trenton-Mercer Airport in its growth. I want to personally thank all of the individuals that helped to make the opening possible, and especially to the diligence and hard work put forth by the County of Mercer, under the direction of County Executive Robert Prunetti, for without their support this task of opening would have been much more difficult."
The company also stated that EJP has been interviewed by several top aviation related publications, whose articles could be out as early as July. The company has already begun to realize the positive impact, as the opening becomes more apparent to the industry. Additionally, Viking, along with EJP, has been in the process of reviewing several possible new acquisitions in relation to EJP. Eric R. Estoos, a member of Viking's board of directors, stated: "We are extremely excited with both the direction we are going and the possibilities we have seen to grow this company. We have our management team in place and have stabilized Viking's foundation allowing us to build a company that we can all be proud of."
Viking also stated that management is in the process of setting a date for the shareholder meeting.
Viking Resources International Inc. is a diversified holding company with a primary focus of expansion through acquisitions and development within the aviation industry.
